We have partnered with Donate for a Defib WsM!

At D-Tech Supplies, we believe in using technology to make a real difference — not just in how we work and connect, but in how we care for one another.
That’s why we were honoured to donate a  laptop to the team at Donate for Defib Weston-super-Mare (W-s-M) as part of our growing partnership with their lifesaving project. This incredible local initiative is working hard to place and maintain public access defibrillators, recruit volunteers, and raise awareness around cardiac health across the community.

Why We Got Involved

We were truly moved by the dedication and passion behind Donate for Defib W-s-M. When we heard how a  laptop could support their vital work — from updating The Circuit (National Defib Network) to improving admin, volunteer coordination, and long-term planning — we knew we had to help. A single device might not seem like much, but for a small team doing big things, it can change everything.

A Partnership with Purpose

Our mission at D-Tech Supplies has always gone beyond tech — it’s about connection, care, and giving back. We were genuinely touched by the kind words from the Donate for Defib team and thrilled that this donation will have such a meaningful impact.

“Your generosity and kindness truly touched us, and we are so excited about the growing partnership between D-Tech and our lifesaving mission.” – Donate for Defib W-s-M

Why This Matters

Access to reliable technology is essential for charities to run efficiently, raise awareness, and make real change. It’s an honour to help power the incredible work of Donate for Defib as they continue to build a safer, more resilient community across Weston-super-Mare and beyond.

Let's Build a Stronger Community Together

This donation is just one part of our wider mission to support local causes, charities, and community groups. From refurbishing tech for donation to responsibly recycling e-waste, we’re proud to be part of something bigger. We believe that tech can be a tool for empowerment — especially when it’s used to support those working on the front lines of community wellbeing.

About Donte for Defib Project WsM

Donate for Defib W-s-M is a passionate, award-winning community initiative dedicated to increasing access to life-saving defibrillators across Weston-super-Mare and the surrounding areas. Their mission is to ensure that defibrillators are readily available in public spaces, including pubs, restaurants, community centres, health clinics, gyms, and places of worship. By doing so, they aim to significantly improve survival rates from sudden cardiac arrests.

Since their establishment in August 2023, Donate for Defib W-s-M has been actively fundraising to install publicly accessible defibrillators. Each unit costs approximately £1,705, covering the device and a secure, weatherproof cabinet. These defibrillators are registered with The Circuit – National Defibrillator Network, ensuring that emergency services can quickly locate the nearest device during a cardiac emergency.

Beyond installations, the charity is deeply involved in community engagement. They organize educational events like "Restart a Heart Day," collaborate with local schools and businesses, and host fundraising activities, including themed charity nights. Their efforts have garnered support from local MPs, healthcare professionals, and organizations such as the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity (GWAAC).
